My paintings are a rumination of my infinite inward journey. These works evolve from my vivid dreams, imaginative visions, spiritual and self-growth, worldly expeditions and the everyday magic that exists but is not always seen. I alternate between oils, acrylic, and mixed media and more recently, I have enjoyed experimenting with watercolour, thoughtful dotting and paint pouring.

Magical Realism is a realm where the borders between dream and reality are blurred. It's that snuggly place where imagination and dreams sneak into reality and vice versa. It is a dreamland, a wonderment, a feeling state, a thought or even an emotion. Our imagination brings forth our realities and creates big change if we allow it -- this is what I aim to do with my artwork. I aim to heal, feel, dream, evolve and connect through each and every piece I create.

I also wonder if magical Realism is less about dissociative drifting and more about deeply tuning into the present moment to notice the whole of what we experience around us on every cellular level in every instant. Our imaginations allow us to anchor, dream up and create visions of the best possible versions of ourselves and the best possible life for us; this is the beginning of building the reality we want and attuning to the magic we are often so far disconnected from. Become attuned to listen, feel, hear, taste and see the magic and truth inside and around you. It's there.
